Terms of Service

These Terms govern Main Character (the Register), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] under the laws of [JURISDICTION]. By using the site or buying an entry you agree to them.

1. What an entry is

An entry is a permanent, numbered, publicly visible record in the Register: a name, an optional handle and link, and an optional line, assigned the next sequential entry number the moment payment clears. Entries are not removed on a schedule and are not private. Once published, an entry is part of the permanent public record of the Register and stays numbered and visible unless removed under section 4.

2. Your content and rights

You represent that you are the person or the authorized representative of the product named in your entry, that you may lawfully use the name, handle and link you submit, and that nothing you submit is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, obscene or deceptive. You grant us a license to display your submitted name, handle, link and line on the Register and on any page, card or share image generated from your entry, for as long as the entry remains published.

3. Entries the Register writes itself

Some entries are written by the Register itself, not submitted or paid for by anyone, from public data such as Wikipedia's pageview statistics. These entries are not endorsements and are not statements about the person named, only a record of what the public data shows. Like any other entry, a self-written entry may be removed on request to removals.outclean@noumenon-ai.com.

4. Acceptable use, impersonation and removal

You may not submit an entry that: is illegal or promotes illegal activity; infringes another person's intellectual property; impersonates a person, brand or organization you are not authorized to represent; contains or links to child sexual abuse material, which is met with zero tolerance and reported to the relevant authorities; or is spam, a scam, or submitted to manipulate, defraud or mislead visitors. Impersonating another person in an entry is grounds for removal without refund. We may remove or refuse any entry at our sole discretion, and we act on good-faith requests sent to removals.outclean@noumenon-ai.com. Removing an entry takes it off the live Register; it does not undo the fact that the entry existed, and copies made by others before removal (screenshots, caches, archives) are outside our control.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Register for anyone who violates these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licensing, indemnification, disclaimers and liability, survive.

6. DMCA

If you believe an entry infringes your copyright, send a notice to removals.outclean@noumenon-ai.com identifying the work, the entry, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act and that the use is unauthorized. We will act on valid notices.

7. Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout. We never receive or store your full card details, only the identifiers Stripe returns for the completed checkout. An entry is delivered in full at the moment payment clears: the number is assigned, the entry is published, and any head-of-page placement you paid for takes effect immediately. Because delivery is instant and complete, payments are non-refundable, including when a later entry outpays your head-of-page placement or when an entry is removed for violating section 4, except where required by law. You may choose to pay more than the posted entry price; the amount you paid is shown on your entry, and it is non-refundable like any entry.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Register is provided AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [LEGAL ENTITY] is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the entry giving rise to the claim. You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages and expenses arising from content you submit or your misuse of the Register.

9. Governing law and contact
